My Son was given a 100% dairy protein free diet. I keep runing across products that lack Lactos, but still have Casin.
I need to know about any stores in the San Antonio TX area that specialize in dairy replacement products.
I already know of: Sun Harvest, Whole foods, Wild Oats Market, and HEB #1 on Broadway. (I found a listing) Any other lesser known places that would sell these products?

There aren't any vegan specific grocers in S.A. (or Texas for that matter) but Sun Harvest is arguably one of the best places in the state for getting dairy free products, it's a semi-regular stop for me when I'm in the area for that reason. Besides the stores you listed there are a few small independent health food stores there that are veggie friendly and would be willing to order special diet products for you if they don't have them in stock. The only one I can think of at the moment is in north central S.A. but I can't remember the name right now.

Why replace dairy? Dairy products are very unhealthy notwithstanding the advertising campaigns of the dairy industry (lobby). There are many other sources of the nutrients associated diary products available from foods without the burden of; animal fat, cholesterol, anttibiotics, chemicals, et cetera. To wet cerial, try rice milk. For cooking, use soy milk (keep temperatures down). Forget cheese - or accept casin. RiceDream brand "ice cream" is as good as the real thing. Most supermarkets sell soy milk which is a replacement for cows milk. My friends son is on the same diet and he drinks soy milk.
