If true, this would be one of the very few cases in which injected RFID devices would be properly used.
If true, you could carry a cell phone at all times and leave it on.

My Great grandmother had alzheimers so this hits very close to home to me. I found a website with a chip that you can carry around and be located by computer at all times. It's called QUALCOMM's first-generation inGeo Reference Design Solution. They web address is:http://www.cdmatech.com/technologies/ingeo.jsp I hope this helps. Good luck.

Check with the Alzeimer's organization at www.alz.org. They have a locator service that people can join. Low-tech but it works.

If you're at risk for wandering off, you've got more advanced dementia and should probably be in assisted living or with relatives. You can get a medilert bracelet..you know "i've fallen and can't get up", in case you need help.

Well, first thing I think of are the microchips that are implanted subdermally by some parents into their children to track their whereabouts.
Also, a cellphone would probably do the trick, as long as you keep it on you.

Well.... I guess you could strap a GPS locator device to your leg, like they use in cars.
