My son just got firewood from a dealer in Abilene, Tx. Everytime he has started a fire, he has had trouble breathing. The Doctor says it could be linked with the firewood he received in Abilene. He has never had this problem in others places he has lived. Has anybody ever heard of different areas having this propblem with firewood?

It is very possible he is reacting to the species of wood. He may not have burned this kind of wood before.
