The best... I can't turn down a nice Filet Mignon or a NY Steak. Don't get me started about a Porterhouse.

Of course, I'm only teasing... but I believe in moderation and meat in moderation is definitely helpful for your body.

Please don't believe the myth that "people aren't 'designed' to eat meat."

Not only nowadays, the non-vegetarian food is not good for human consumption right from the time the first human being is born on this earth. It holds good for the future also. When the first human beings are born on earth, they are destined to eat fruits, nuts and cereals. Our vedas and the first chapter "Genesis" of Bible also advocate it. Then how come the man started eating meat? Due to natural calamities, when the plant food was not available, the man killed animals and ate them to pacify his hunger. But the differently tasted meat lured him to continue eating it. That's how it all started. So the actual food for the humans is fruits. You can not eat raw meat but you can enjoy raw fruits. The taste for meat comes from the spices (garam masala) applied to it only. So nowadays people are eating meat for its taste only. If you cook vegetables with the taste similar to cooked meat, people would certainly prefer vegetarian food. Veg food is lighter for our stomach as compared to non-veg food and it also takes less time to digest. Some other root causes are also there to quit non-veg food and go for veg food. When the time permits, I will give those reasons. Thank you for the opportunity.

Yes, obviously because with non veg materials our body becomes heavier, and our mind becomes very dull and to my mind, now a days, so many new deceases are causing to human beings. The main and foremost reason in not advising the non veg food is that, at least, our mind and heart will have an idea that we can not eat other living being. With veg food all is you feel light, happy, perhaps less health problems and your mind will be active and also, at the same time, we will have an idea of sympathy towards living beings.

Which Diet is better - Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian?
First of all, there are 5 different types of vegetarians.
Those who don't eat meat of some animals (eg., Beef or meat of rabbit etc.) or some organs (eg. Brain)
Those who eat only fish and dairy products
Those who don't eat meat or fish but will eat eggs and drink milk. These are the most common type of vegetarians.
Those who do not eat meat or any animal product.
There are a few who do not eat anything but fruits.

Advantages of vegetarian foods are:
They are easily chewable, especially for the elderly who have lost their teeth.
Many elderly feel that vegetarian food is more easily digestible.
Vegetarian foods are cheaper than non-vegetarian foods.
Some vegetables can be eaten raw preventing the loss of nutrients while cooking.
Vegetarian foods do not contain as much fat as non-vegetarian foods.
Vegetarians should take care to include soyabeans, groundnuts, lentils, mushrooms and so on to get a sufficient supply of proteins.

Advantages of Non-Vegetarian foods are:
Non-vegetarian foods are rich in protein of high biological value and in Vit B complex, especially B12 which is not available in plant foods.
Fish, especially the small varieties are a rich source of calcium.
Egg-white is good source of protein and easily digested.
The incidence of high BP, Heart disease, Obesity and high cholesterol levels is found to be greater among non-vegetarians. Elders who suffer from these problems should reduce the intake of fleshy foods in their diet. Egg-white and most varieties of fish contain less fat, but are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals.

Vegetarian or non-vegetarian, the decision depends on various factors such as cultural or dietary habits of the family, personal preference, taste and avoidance of certain foods for health reasons. Whatever the case, a well-balanced diet supplying proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals should be taken.

Not good =is the answer. There are many reasons.
All non veg foods contain protein but not as much as or more than veg food like grams Soya gram contains 44%, Black Gram=24% and many other items of veg food like Methi contains 22% of protein. Eggs=13% protein, ,
Beef, pork,=18% and mutton-(Lamb)=19.5%protein.Eggs are the main reason for degeneration of human species. Example= eggs are the cause for the early maturity of girls. Girls mature at the age of 10 years on an average these days. The statistical reason for this proved the consumption of eggs. Men and women lose their childhood and are sent to adolescence and adulthood , and old age sooner than the previous generations.
These flesh foods contain NIL carbohydrates and iron and minerals-- which are needed and more fat % which is not needed for human beings.Fish is the only non veg food that has a very small percentage of fat less than other flesh foods. But fish has NIL Carbohydrates Iron and Minerals. There are many other reasons for its inferiority compared to veg
foods.
Besides nutrition value there are many more reasons for the inferiority of flesh foods

Non-vegetarian food is not good for physical&mental health.Food induces ones character.Vegetarians are basically soft in nature since their food is also soft in nature;its easy to digest. In general the people thinks if they take only vegetarian food they will become weak. It's wrong only. The following are pure vegetarions!
1.Elephant - The largest animal in the land.
2.Giraffe - The tallest animal in land.
3.Deer - Almost the fastest animal in land.
4.Horse - The most powerful animal in land (the electrial motors power is only referred in unit called 'HorsePower'(HP).
Still if you are doubtful, go to a hospital or clinic and take censes i.e.,the no. of vegetarian patients & the no. of non-vegetarion patients.Since the non-vegetarion foods leads us so many diseases.BE CAREFUL.

i hope no. i have seen many after their fifties searching for fibrous food vegetables and eating as suggested by the doctors and stop non veg. and after so much of pollution and other bad effects on normal living, is it also required to increase our fats and other unnecessary troubles, hence the present conditions are favouring actually more of veg food
any what u eat is what ur
and vegeterian food evolved more after civilisation
the grains and cereals what we feed to the cattle and birds to get non veg food stuff
is sufficient to remove poverty and feed every human on earth
and no hunger
and thats really great no hungry people

You are in Happy clappy carrot cruncher land, hun!! We don't know. I'd safely guess not given that commercial meat production focuses on profit and not quality. Read 'Fast Food Nation ' by Eric Schlosser or see the movie!
