Possibly. Is she getting enough sleep? 8.5 hours is healthiest.

It could be a number of things.

Is she eating a healthy diet? Eating unhealthy foods can leave you feeling tired/

Is she getting enough exercise? Exercise is a great way to bump up your energy levels.
Although TOO much exercise isn't good either!

Has she cut down on soda or other caffeinated beverages?

If she continues to feel exhausted all of the time, check with a doctor.

Very good possibility it is sleep apnea. This will cause exhaustion after what is perceived to be a good night sleep. Other signs of sleep apnea include:
Loud snoring, witnessed apnea's (stop breathing briefly), Excessive daytime sleepiness, morning headaches, nausea, memory problems, depression and restlessness, dry mouth in the morning (due to mouth breathing), sexual impotence, gastro-esophageal reflux

Could be.. or shes just not getting into REM sleep.. or oddly enough she could be having acid reflux. Least thats the reason my Dr. told my I was partly having so much trouble. Thus causing me to awaken and not get into REM sleep. It could be a huge list of things really. Her best bet is to talk to her Dr. I know they can't solve everything, but he/she might have some good ideas.

Very likely sleep apnea. Have you ever noticed her stop breathing while sleeping? She should go to her doctor and ask for a referral to a sleep clinic.
