actually diabetes is the disease which causes peripheral neuropathy . papillary thyroid cancer occurs in females more than males.if there are frank symptoms then the early one is a solitary mobile thyroid nodule(still localized) and if late symptoms there will be a hard fixed infilterating mass.there may be too shortness of breath, difficulty in swallowing and may be pain referring to ears late.this cancer has a good prognosis.

That's what happens after you've had cancer. It did with me and everyone else I've know that's had cancer. To alleviate your fears you can go to the dermatoligist to look for skin cancers and have blood tests and other tests done to look for other cancers. But those feelings will fade the longer it's been since your initial cancer treatment. If you can find a local group of cancer survivors at the American Cancer Society or somewhere, talking about your fears in a group that understands might make you feel better.

This is very low grade malignancy and I have never seen one go beyond regional lymph nodes. No neuropathy.
