No. What, you want him to ask everytime, that just ruins the moment! But if you dont want him doing it then tell him, dont ever do summink you dont want to do... It just shows him doing it without asking means he dosent mind/likes doing it.. just lay bak and enjoy!

i don't think it has to mean anything, except that maybe he thinks enough of you to make sure you are pleasured.unfortuneatly alot of men tend to be more selfish in this area.hopefully for you its something you enjoy and its a positive experience for you.
