Yes of course. Usually through your whole life, when you are going through times of upset or otherwise under emotional strain and stress. But usually in just small outbreaks that will quickly go away again, if proper care is taken of them.

Yes, once you get it your skin is always more prone to the pores clogging and causing a blemish. Some people never get them and others have continuel problems with it. A lot of it depends on how well you take care of your skin. By that I mean how you wash your face, protect it from the sun, how much make up you wear, what kind of make up you wear. Pretty much anything and everything you put on your skin. If there was a way to keep it from coming back I'd love that because acne is really hard to keep away in my T-zones ...

If you're a girl and have acne during your teen years, it's probably because your levels of testosterone (male hormone) have risen faster than your levels of estrogen (female hormone) and shbg (binder to stop testosterone giving women male characteristics).

As your estrogen levels rise, the acne is likely to disappear and stay away. Acne is associated with growth of hair in a male pattern and you'll often find that at 14 or 15 a girl may have quite heavy moustache growth which by the time she's 18 has almost disappeared. Same reason -- rise in estrogen and shbg levels negating the effect of testosterone. Incidentally, when acne's present, the only safe way to remove facial hair without making hte acne worse is a men's-style electric razor.

If your testosterone levels remain high it's possible the acne may stay.

Depends what the cause of your acne is, and whether this will occur again in the future.

It can be caused by all different types of skin irritation: hormones, shaving, reactions to cosmetics, medication...

There's loads of information on the wikipedia page below - have a look.

yeah. They cam retur anytime if you dont take care of your skin. Do not waste your money on those pimples gel, facial clenser, toner wutsoever. The point is to keep your skin clean. Just get yourself a soft but a little rough ( not to rough ) surface shower sponge and some non soap clenser ( i just use shokubutsu, even though its actually for body, but it works pretty well! i notice my balckheads are gone when i started using it on my face ) and scrub your face lightly to clean it. After that, dab a little tea tree oil on the pimple when your skin is dry. Make sure you drink a lot of water and avoid sweet foods. I dont know if this tricks will work on you or not, but i've been following this for almost a year now, and my skin never been this clear before. I used to have a lot of pimples that most people couldnt imagine, trust me. But now im cleared!

It most likely won't come back...except with the hormone thing... so you will get breakouts here and there but nothing you'd actually call "acne" ever again. Once you find a great skin care system you should be fine.

Yea, so that just means to keep cleaning your face, and there's a less chance that it will come back.
Try to avoid as much stress as possible, because stress can cause acne.

Of course there are chances that it could return again, it depend on how you wash your face, skin care products you use and what type of makeup you use.

If it went away on its own it could always return. If you took medication, it is more unlikely that it will return. But anything can happen, don't worry while its away be happy.
