Go for the Navy.
You will see the world and be exposed to a lot of different jobs.
Techs in the Navy have to adapt and be flexible.
The types of war we are fighting the Navy is not where the bullets are flying unless you become a SEAL or Navy corpsman.
You will find out rather quickly the limits you put on your life are your own.
Good luck.
Navy for 8 and 1/2 years.

first of all there are no stewards in the Navy, unless you are talking about going culinary arts, then you will be exposed to some aspects of formal dining, if your talking like airlines, well most of the people i knew in air departments did more than a steward in the civilian world. I went into the Navy when i was 18 myself, did 20 years of it, There is stress i wont deny it but the good thing about it that you will have people helping you to cope, we do some long hours in the navy, more than most civilian jobs and other branches. i used to pull 16 hrs days normal at sea, 7 days a week without a holiday, if you go have fun and an open mind, you will meet probably your new best friend and you will meet people that you will never forget. as we say Anchors Away and good luck

Look like any 18 year old girl you are confused. Welcome to the real world where lots of 18 year olds are confused. The Navy would be an excellent choice. First of all you would get to see the world. Second you you see things and make friends like you never would have before. Plus if you decide you want to make a career you can retire after 20 years. Stewards are great but they cannot match the total picture of seeing the world, doing different things in different cultures, earn money for college, and have great benefits, plus you would develop character and great habits that would take you so far in life. Responsibility, being prompt, doing things the right way, teamwork, experiences. I have talked to so many people and so many people have said they wished they had gone in the service for at least four years. I would suggest enlisting in the Navy, Coast Guard ( Coast Guard is fantastic also).

Definately do it! If you want to go into a Commisarian / Steward rating, I am sure it can be done. We had them on my destroyer and it will certainly point to a career in hotels, resorts, and
restaurant management later on , still I would bone up on math and algebra, having good reading comprehension skills is important as well. A good number of class A schools would be open to you however. I enlisted at 17 and while I re considered the wisdom of that decision a number of times, it was a good experience. Looks good on a resume too.

I have been in the Navy for a year. At times I ask myself what did I get into. Most of the time I enjoy it. You get the chance to see the world. You will learn what you are made of. Most people leave the military a better person, more confident and more responsible. I would recomend the Navy to anyone willing to join the military. If you have any specific questions you can send me a message and I would be willing to answer.

The Navy is great. I would truely want you to look into the Air Force also and compare the two. I for one would want my young daughter in the Air Force than out on a ship with 3500 men and 6 women. Just something to think about.

Go for it!
Try the life accelerator- its a mini aptitude test
study your math skills before you take the asvab-official test all service members take. There is a lot of algebra, but the score you get determines what jobs you are allowed to pick. you are allowed to retake at any time to improve your score! You can also take a practice asvab test
Remember smart people get tutors!

Black is going with each thing. AND flipflops are actual getting right into a sparkling form- donning them with formal clothing and with paintings outfits. Its a sparkling form thats rather making valuable. SO lovable!! and black is elegant- it rather is going with each thing and provides a sprint little bit of adulthood to the shoe. identity def bypass with black.
