It depends on the policy of the school system if they call - but normally most school systems will call that day to see why you were not in school that day. Skipping school is dumb.

Good Luck!!!

I get a call at my house almost every day saying my brother skipped school. I called the school and asked why they call everyday and they said if he misses even ONE class, or is even late by more then 10 minutes, they will call.

They leave a message, and they call. This isn't in Illinois, but I wouldn't reccommend missing school anyway. It should be your number one priority.

Missing school leads to bad things, like doing drugs, or doing boys. Don't do it! I hope they call your house and I hope your parents find out too. =)

Be good

Really depends on your school. here in Indiana alot of the schools have a tracking system for parents to check tardiness, absentee's, and grades daily on line.....each parent puts in the child's ss# and then can track every class and so forth for the child....

So I would say it is up to each school.
