I really don't know as I had my mastectomy in April and went thru four chemo. I was supposed to go for radiotherapy, but I dd not do it as my case is in the grey area.

My lump is 4cm but my lymph nodes are clear. I am taking TCM medicine from a reputable TCM Hospital. So far so good, but the niggling doubt is always there. My Oncologist recommend me Tamoxifen but am not taking it as my ER is negative and PR is weakly positive.

I have made the decision to stick to TCM. Right now I am looking for a home-based job like data, telemarketer etc., Age is not on my side as i am 47 this year. Any suggestion.

From what you have explained I feel Mastectomy and 4 cycles of chemotherapy is not sufficient. Though your statement does not indicate any stage of cancer I believe it may not be more than Stage II. I would suggest you to take TAMOXIFEN and also radiation therapy instead of taking Traditional Chinese herbal medicine (TMC) as we have to completely eradicate the cancerous cells from your body. So take the advise of your Oncologist and have the medicine and radiation. You should not give any chance for the disease to come again since your comparatively Young and CANCER IS STILL AN ENIGMA. If you can you can do some work from the home itself and there is not restriction for it. Best of luck.-

Even though your PR is weakly positive, I still think you should consider the Tamoxifen. This drug has shown great promise in reducing the risk of recurrence and metastases. You are a cancer patient and still need treatment, take what you can get. Hang in there and stay positive.

Second of all, Have you looked into Medical Transcription? Here is a website that may offer you more help! I cannot give you any solid leads, I would just advise caution as there are many people out there who are willing to take advantage of people who want or need to work from home.
I hope your treatment goes well and that you are soon given the all clear;

You are definitely a survivor. I will disagree with you on one thing age is on your side. You are still young and as long as you have the will to keep going you can live to be a hundred. My hat's off to you and good luck!!!!
