Yes. It's a black tea. Unless the box states Decaffeinated, it will contain caffeine.

Not sure where you are, but here in the UK you can get Twinings Decaffeinated Earl Grey tea (teabags in a grey box, with the normal tea in a lot of supermarkets).

Earl Grey is normal tea that herbs have been added to. The main herb being bergamot. Unless it is a herbal tea , such as rooibos tea, that has been flavoured it will contain caffeine. Remember that tea actually contains more caffeine than coffee does - surprisingly!

yes, earl grey is a scented black tea. and NO! not all teas are caffinated. the only ones that are caffinated are the green teas and the black teas. herbal teas are naturally decaffinated.

Yes, like black teas in general. In fact, it is one of the higher teas in this area. But tea, technically, contains theophyline, a chemical which is similar to the caffeine in coffee, but not the same. And cocoa contains theobromine, which again is related but distinguishable from true caffeine. Other stimulants are yerba matte and guarana, which again, are similar but different from what is meant by "caffeine". In other words, there is a whole family of CNS stimulants, which we lump together as "caffeine", but which are really all slightly different.
