Most women dont start to feel definate movements until they are farther on that 14 weeks, so think yourself very lucky. The average time for movement is between 20 - 24 weeks. I felt a little movement around 17 weeks, and then nothing else, and then now I feel the baby moving at night time, but still not hard, that you could distinguish as a foot etc, I am now 23 weeks and counting.

Please try not to worry about this, and it happens a lot in pregnancy. My mum said that when she was 7/8 month she always felt me kick and then i just stopped for 2 days and she thought that I had died so was going to go to the ER if she hadnt felt anything for the morning and next thing she said she felt as though she had her ribs cracked in one swift kick!!! which she of course didnt mind.

TRY NOT TO WORRY!!!! Congratulations and Good Luck

When I had my children I too felt movement at around
15-16 weeks. Don,t they do a 16 week scan now? If
I were you just to put your own mind at rest go to the
doctor. Every pregnancy is different. Take Care.

Yes, especially if you are heavier than you were w/ your first baby. If you don't feel anything by 20-22 weeks, then call your doctor. Sometimes obese women will not even feel the baby until 23-25 weeks!
