Me and my ex have been together for almost 7 months, he told me he loved me like no other and even though we argued all the time over little things, we fought through it all. At first there was a trust issue and we forgave each other for something we both did. The thing is he used to tell me everything i wanted to hear, i knew that its how i truly felt in heart and i loved him, he was and still is my everything. best friend, lover, my future. Last night i called him to ask when we were meeting today and over the conversation i told him about delicious chocolates i was eating and he said " well enjoy being fat!" and he tells me things like this all the time, he says i can never take a joke! and that i never listen to him! one time in an argument he said if i was a guy he would beat me up! we almost broke up before but the love is so strong that we could never do it. and yday he did it over the phone! saying thats the right thing to do! I LOVE HIM and im lost without him! Help!!

If he does truely and honestly love you in the way you describe then be open and honest to him in regards to how you feel when he says such nasty things.
You don't need to hear such negative comments especially from your boy friend which only makes me wonder if he does love you the way you think he does. Please don't misinterpret what i'm saying here but have you considered that he may be stringing you along because he knows you wont break up with him.
If you do break up life goes on... you will probably find someone else who will be nice and respect you more than he does.

Be up front with him if you care about him tell him the truth.... Just tell him that right now is not the right time for you to get serious and that maybe you and him should take a break and yes that will hurt him but in the long run you be telling him the truth but sometimes real love hides and what you think is not love is love but it comes slowly just make sure that you don't walk away from the best thing because sometime we make a big mistake and we can not turn time back so you think about this before you tell him... It is hard to find a really nice guy these days so when you have one you should keep it but if you think he is not the one for you then let him go! But just think before you do! Good Luck

both of you needed some space... and if you always argue with each other, you might as well cool off for some time... and after a month or so, and then both of you realize that you still love each other. then maybe its the time to be together again but you should avoid arguing always.

this is very common when relation is new guys speak all lovely things too woo grls and once u r into relation they feel complacent and then dont care even if they r hurting u or not ,best way is show him that there r other guys who like u and would like to have relationship u.

I got mistreated at a Divorce. I hung on until I saw it this way. It's suppose to be called, "Love"; Where is Love and Hurt,ever come together. NOT! If he hurt you. He didn't Love you. How can you have a one-sided Love. It ain't fair to your Heart.

You should tell him not to tell you things like that because thats not a joke and if he keeps telling you things like that break up.You can go without him if thats how he is.On another thought that might be his way to tell you he loves you.

you love the good things about him but there are too many bad things as well that you haven't really noticed. dump him and find someone who has the good without all the bad you have had to endure!

Right off the top I'd say you are in lust not love. And I'd say he doesn't love you. People who love you don't insult you on a regular basis.
