In the Christian fantasy world, the trinity is monotheism. Given time they can rationalize just about anything.

Is an egg the yoke the white or the shell? When you order an egg in a restaurant do you get the shell to eat? Do you get the yoke in an egg white omelet? Which part is the egg and which part is not?
Are you your mind? Are you your body? Are you your soul? Which one is you and which one is not? If your body dies and you soul goes on did you die or just a part of you?
I am not sure why this concept is so hard for people. God is three very real entities, One is no more real than the other and one is no less God than the other. I hope this helps and you understand the truth.
God created earth and everything else that was created, God came to earth because he understood that God the Father could not accept sin in any form or amount and that mans only hope was in the righteousness of Jesus Christ (God the Son). God also sent the Holy Spirit (God the Spirit) as our guide to help and teach us.
I (mind) think about things and understand concepts like evolution, string theory, the big bang, DNA sequences, amino acid structure. I (body) feel the pain of others and how they deal with sickness, pain and suffering, love and desire. I (soul) care about the deeper things in life and understand that we were created as eternal beings that will live forever and life on earth is just a minuscule part of our life.
Truth is knowing that when man has had his say and we show just how smart we are and how much we understand, God will still be right, God still created everything and is in control of everything.
As we push God aside with our subjectivism and relitivism, as we say God has no place in school and government and daily life. God lets us have our own way for a while. Then we ask how God could have left us alone, how could God have let this happen or that happen?
Your question says you can't have three parts (mind, body and soul) even though science even agrees with that idea, when your body dies, they wait for your mind to die but hey what about your soul?
In the begining was God, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Another way of reading this is "In the begining was God and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God. The Old testament talks about the coming Messiah (Jesus) the New testament talks about the life of Christ (Son), the death and resurection of Christ and the return of Christ to rule.
I hope this is clear enough, God can be both. God can breath life into man, God created the universe, God turned water into wine, God brought dead people back to life, God cast out demons, God died for your sins, God rose from the dead, God has prepaired a place for you, God will return for you.
God did the most special thing of all. He loved you enough to give you choice. This means you were created above all other creation, above the angels. You can be joint aires with Christ, brothers with God (the Son), live with him forever and ever and be in fellowship with God the Father.

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God.
Three roles, one God.
Jesus was the son of God in a 'sense.' He was God who became man. He is our advocate and paid the price of God's judgement of us.
The Father aspect of God is the creator and judge.
The Holy Spirit is his guiding force for those who believe.
Three distinct personalities but of the same substance that is God.
It is hard to explain.

Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. He is God, as is the Spirit. People have wrestled for centuries over how to explain this. It can be very hard to visualize.

Jesus is the Son of God he is not God, but he is as much God as God is God. Its kind of like a husband and wife when they get married, they become one flesh. They are apart of one another. Well same with God and Jesus.

according to my little knowledge of Bible(s) Jesus(pbuh) is neither God nor son of God. The fact of the matter is Jesus(pbuh) never said by himself I am God worship me.
His followers after his Cucifixation started to propagate the idea of so called trinity.
What Jesus (pbuh) is he is one of the mightiest messengers of God. That's all.
hope that answer yr question

oh, but He can be both.
Jesus is both God and the Son of God.
you can't apply your human values and limitations to spiritual beings like God and Jesus.
They are not subject to human limitaions as you are.
But, even a human man can be a father, a son, and a policeman at the same time without being three different people.

You know, i once asked that. i was talking to a relighious man, and i asked him 'jesus refered to himself to god, and also as the son of god. so which is he?'. what he answered was confusing. He said the jesus was both god and the son of god. so i guess he's both. kinda weird and confusing there.
