3:28
Translated by YUSUFALI: Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.
Translated by PICKTHAL: Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. Unto Allah is the journeying.
Translated by SHAKIR: Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

Here are 3 english translations of sura 3.028

YUSUFALI: Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.

I don't think you are a racist for asking this question. We all want to learn. However, I can see why a radical few will translate 3/28 to sanction or oppress unbelievers in the work place.
The yasufali translation use the word "Helpers" that can be translated to mean "workers." It was not only about "believers not befriending unbelivers" when "Helpers" was added, so my opinion is that "helpers/workers" must be considered to be a wrong translation.

Therefore, like the Bible, the Koran mean different things to different people, depending on which version and interpretation you want to believe and that's why both Books have so many faith groups. What I find similar from your quote is that both Books emphasize that believers shouldn't bond with unbelievers. Amazing!

Hope this help Good luck.

Do you know what your problem is? You are taking everything about Islam out of context to suit your needs. You have an obvious agenda and it's killing you to post these nasty lies about Islam.

Because there are so many followers of this great religion in this world, you show your ignorance and inability to understand ANYTHING about this wonderful religion. Too bad!

I'm actually glad you are misguided, a lesson to Muslims that people like you have been realistically described by God in the Qur'an, a veil shrouds your ears, eyes and heart. May you remain this way until you die...

There is no such thing in Islam, rather in Islam there is complete freedom of any religion.
