this hastening armageddon is a lie
implanted to cause maximum
animosity towards Christians.
Every Christian on this planet knows that all things are in the hands
of The Almighty.
He created all things.
why on earth would He want to destroy it??
If God has no plan to do anything of the sort, why should people??

what might happen is that like an arrogant child,
the inhabitants may decide they are above or better than
God and He simply turns His back on them and lets them go.
Hence the term - Day Of Evil.
If the end comes, it will be because of evil people,
not good ones.

That would be the case IF the Christians were the ones hastening Armageddon.....But Ibelieve it's the NON christians who are doing the dirty deed. The morals of the world are declining at a fast pace and I believe this will hasten the end times.

Look at Sodom and Gomorrah

The meek will inherit the earth. That's a foregone conclusion. If what you mean is should we not be helping the poor, rather than waging war - yes.

I asked the meek if they wanted me to help them inherit the earth
but the meek said "oh no, we're sure you're very busy, and we wouldn't want to be a bother"
ah well, at least I offered.

Holly R... I despair..... where do these people get their theology from, 'the gospel according to their own imagination', I suspect.
According to the gospels, Jesus did not "run a mission to help all those who needed it", he had to be persuaded to help a gentile woman (he called gentiles 'little dogs') because he said he was called to the people of Israel.
he rebuked Judas - who implied that money spent on expensive foot ointment, could have been spent on the poor - saying that "the poor will be with us always" (so, tough titty if you're poor).

The meek don't need any help to inherit the earth.

The present violence in the world is nothing to do with Christianity or with Islam. It is being driven by evil parodies of both.

No one can know the hour of the end of time, but the poor will be with us always. Jesus said, "Feed my lambs", and ran a mission to help all those who needed it so I believe it's our job to help all those we can. Looking for signs of Armageddon's coming is wasting our time.
