this questions helps you to understand just why christianity does not make sense. Thats why christianity is FALSE. Why else are so many people leaving it??

And I will help anyone who wants to leave the cult of christianity to leave - thats why I am answering these questions.

For starters just look at the answers you're getting.

Christians worship one God - then they say we worship the trinity - which is 3 gods actually - father, son & holy spirit (whatever that is).

there's a false impression right here. we could ask a logical question. If God killed himself who could be there to ressurect him? no person. So he in no way killed himself. Jesus and God are 2 distinctive and different beings. God made rules that he additionally adheres to. He lowers himself to the human point and submits to those regulations. between the concepts that he put in the Bible is the only of reimbursement "eye for an eye fixed". whilst God created Adam suited and Adam committed a sin he exchange into not in that suited state. Sin potential to pass over the mark. He exchange into not suited. To stability out the dimensions of suited justice he offered a corresponding sacrifice, Jesus as a suited human. In different words he stability the dimensions. He could not have purely purely forgiven mankind. His love of justice necessary to be met and the cost exchange into his son.

God himself provided the sacrifice, as was foreshowed in Genesis, and recognized by John the Baptist:

"And Isaac said to his father Abraham, 'My father!' And he said, 'Here am I, my son.' He said, 'Behold, the fire and the wood; but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?' Abraham said, 'God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.'" -- Genesis 22:7-8

"This took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, 'Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'" -- John 1:28-29

First of all, Jesus is not God & God is not Jesus...God is Jesus' Father. He (Jesus) was crucified & died on the cross for you, me, & everyone else so that we may have forgiveness of our sins & spend eternity in Heaven when we die. I was going to reference some Bible verses for you to read so that you could have a better understanding of this, but there are so many. I would suggest renting the movie 'The Passion of the Christ' & this will clearly give you a very good understanding of the price Jesus paid for you & me. I hope this helps you understand & God Bless!

Jesus didn't kill himself, the Romans done that. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" Jesus died on the cross for our sins and it is only through Him that we get to go to heaven.

Mixing up the idea of salvation!!?

Refer to Gospel according to John 6: 28-40, specifically, 6:38-40.

Hope that clarifies for you.

what u said does make sense, if GOD was Jesus or Jesus was the son of GOD, why he killed himself or his son?
that's mean that GOD is GOD and he's the only GOD, and that Jesus is only a messenger sent from GOD to mankind to teach them how to worship and believe in GOD....

well to begin with he did not kill himself he was murdered on the cross, even though he knew before hand, it was still murder. In addition & it was not to change rules, it was so we no longer needed to make our own scarfice for the blood for forgiveness or purity as he paid everyone's debt with his blood who will accept it.
