get a thermometer
pronto.
keep checking her temperature and if it gets to critical
level, i.e 103/4 Farenheit
call a doctor.
by that stage she will probably be incoherent
and may need u to save her, if the situation arises.
It's ok I know u work so ur not a child here.
It sounds like a virus but it might be food poisoning or a number
of things..
are there any other symptoms? when did the symptoms
first start. did it start with a cold/runny nose?
can u add to ur question?
thanks and good luck.

Could be a viral bug or food poisoning. Once she has stopped being sick for a few hours make sure she starts having some fluids (water or dioralyte you can get sachets from the chemists ask at the pharmacy counter). If she's running a temperature give her some paracetamol.
She probably doesn't feel up to much but I'm sure that just having you to look after her while she's feeling poorly will be great.

Sounds similar to the viral infection I had about two years ago. Make sure she gets lots of fluids. If she can't keep anything down then go to the doctors and he will give her something to stop the vomiting. Unfortuanately, with a viral infection you just have to let it run its course.

Hi I have a cat was pg 5 times. I had her fixed today. About one dead kitty, and one you tried putting by mom, I think something is wrong with the whole litter I would take mom and kitties asap to a vet. They do have emergency vets. I can't believe this happened 1 week later. The listless one must be fed by hand it needs fluids our your going to loose one. I feel so sorry for you If mama is longhaired onthe belly you have to cut hair away from and around her nipples. I would move the other kittens away from mama and try to open it's mouth and put it on a nipple yourself. If not get an eye dropper and try to feed it I would try water then milk thinned with water. But best the vet. The kitty is dehyrated.Hope all will be well. Sincerely, Betty Boop

Sweet black tea to replace the sugars lost, dry toast and/or crackers to help steady her stomach. Paracetamol to relieve the aches and pains and fever, plus plenty of water and rest. Keep an eye on her temperature-it's obviously high now-which is why she's going hot and cold. If it get's too high, phone the doctor, and in the meantime sponge her with cool water. It sounds like the flu, which is doing the rounds-but best to keep your eye on her.
Hope your mum is feeling better soon!

It's probably just a 24 hour thing. Just do everything you can for her around the house so she doesn't feel there are things she should be up and doing. And use your own towels! If it's a bug, the last thing you need is to go down with it yourself! My gp said vomiting that lasts more than 12 hours may need treatment, otherwise it's best to let it settle on its own

It sounds like a virus to me. Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do except painkillers, fluid and bed rest.
Keep an eye on her temperature though.
