Use the 7/16 if you can. Its rated at 49 Amps. However it would be a complete overkill and a bit bulky and heavy for a lighting circuit where 7/20 at 26 Amps would be more than enough. I'd learn a bit more about electrical standards in your area before getting into trouble.
