i'm sorry, i didn't explain myself, for the addresses on the envelope, do i put the receiving address on top pr bottom?

If this is a business letter then on a blank page you write your (sender) name and address at the top on the right of the page with the date underneath.
You insert the name and address that it is going to on the left and the salutation (Dear whoever) under that. If it is a personal letter then on the blank page you write your address at the top right hand side and on the next line below that but on the left, you write the salutation.

Closing salutation,

Name
But you can use the block style wherein you will start on the left side of the paper.
