i never thought about that before but it's so true! how wierd. maybe we want to try it and so we sub-consciously buy the flavour that we would like to eat! how strange!

I noticed a dog food in the supermarket which was Lamb and Mint Sauce flavour.
I didn't buy it - I just thought that it was incredibly stupid and aimed at gullible owners not at their dogs.
Mine prefer tripe - the smellier the better. I don't!

I contest this question. Poochie, my dog, does not like anything I like. Therefore, when I select her food it is based on what she will eat, which is usually nasty liver flavored stuff. And let me tell you: the stuff she eats lets you know its there a couple of hours after she eats it. Stinky!
But yeah, I guess I did pick the first food based on what I like. Its probably the advertising. Afterall, its not directed at the dogs.

I have to admit that I don't! At the pet store I let her sniff a few bags and chose one (she liked the chicken). Then I bought a few cans of food in all different kinds (except vegetarian) and you can tell that she really likes the chicken cubes in gravy. I still switch it up, but my girl really likes the chicken :)

Well, I actually add items to my dogs' food that is less than appetizing. For starters, instead of canned I use a tablespoon of raw (not bad considering it's beef based). I also add a taste of tripe to their diet (cow stomache...smells disgusting but is good for them)

I don't. I have tried different flavours on my pooch, and buy him the ones he likes most!

Hmm, don't quite agree with that! I wouldn't eat Lamb & Poultry, sounds downright disgusting! Nor would I eat Beef & Game, oh no does this mean I am abnormal??! LoL!

I don't. I know which favour the dog likes because we've tried most of them and now we buy the one we think he relishes the most!!
