I personally think she wants more. Wondering about the 'She always goes on about wanting a gay best friend' - so I take it you are Gay and cannot give her more. If she is in love with you but knows you are Gay then let her down easy huh? Be there for her and support her through it, nothing worse than being in love with someone who doesn't love you back.

I think she's really lonely & wants affection. She only wants friendship with you, but would like a knight in shining armour to come & rescue her from her loveless life at the moment.
