Yes, uncontrolled immigration is effecting badly, the English way of life. I personally feel that it's not because the immigrants are getting into the country, but, because, the country is too small to accommodate huge number of foreigners. It would make a drastic change in the culture, tradition and will leave a very dark scar on the prestigious soil on Great Britain. It should always be better to have controlled immigration, as this country belongs to English and they have the right to practise there way of living rather than accepting lots of culture which would lead them no where.

No more so than the media influence from the US, the business influence from the US and the social and musical influences from the US are affecting the English way of life.

I asked the question "What are the traditional English values and way of life?" and got such a mish mash of answers with little consistency. It seems that every English person has a different idea of what it is to be English and thus this question has no value!!!

Yes it is.

England the year 2082. A muslim government, indiginous british have all left for the old british colonies. Since the collapse of the E.U 20 years earlier massive immigration including french and german have sent the population up to around 110 million. And these immigrants are having trouble with adapting to the islamic republic of great britain. And my great, great, great grandson, well he's lying on a beach with a cold beer in queensland.

Yes it has had a negative effect on us but the government and employers tell us how good it is for the economy, that means the wages stay very low for the unskilled worker.
Political correctness has also caused a lot of racism because it has created a lot of resentment.

I'm a British born and bred caucasian and so are my ancestors. I think 'uncontrolled immigration' is a bit strong. Do you read the Daily Mail by any chance? Immigration makes Britain a better place. Do you enjoy going out for a curry? Maybe some chinese food or a pizza?
Immigration has long-term benefits for the economy, providing needed skills and helping to boost economic growth. In the UK, Home Office research suggests that immigrants pay £2.5bn more in taxes than they take in benefits.

It's my personal belief that a lot of closet racists hide behind ridiculous remarks like "they're stealing our jobs" and "they only come here to claim our benefits". Look around you. Immigrants are doctors, nurses, restaurateurs, teachers. I have met and know plenty of British dole scroungers who have never done an honest days work in their lives but I've yet to meet an immigrant with the same appalling work ethic.

without sounding racist yes! I know that sounds horrible but British cities are filling up with immigrants who get benefits and don't work. Im not saying all are like that, and without this diverse culture we wouldn't have as good a country in some ways, but im thinking of moving to Australia!
