My son had tubes placed in his ears when he was about 18 mo and we had no problems at all. He actually quit pulling on his ears after he got the tubes. I think it probably relieved some of the pressure. He's 15 yrs old now. I imagine it's an even safer procedure now and it was pretty cut and dried then.

while my daughter exchange into little she had 6 diverse instruments of tubes. the traditional one is purely a today little tube and is typically compelled out by yet another ear an infection or by the ear healing itself. there's a T-shaped one which will stay in and must be surgically bumped off later. they'll in all danger not use that one until she has persistent ear infections. sturdy success and don't hardship too plenty. The surgical treatment is speedy and that they are oftentimes fantastic day after today. She may be a sprint nauseous while she wakes up simply by anesthesia so have a towel and wash rag reachable interior the waiting room. I discovered the stressful way while she threw up on my shirt. LOL let us know the way it is going my buddy.

If ear tubes fall out, the eardrum will close up the hole in itself very quickly. There are no problems associated with this, except the return of middle ear infection (like what he had prior to the insertion of the tubes). Go back to his ENT for a check-up.
