- Roma (Rome) 550 Km
- Milano (Milan) 190 Km
nearest railway station Rovereto 20 Km (direct connections to Verona, Florence, Rome, southern Italy more trains every day).
nearest airport Verona (many destination in Europe) low cost airport (Brescia 90 km or Bergamo 150 km).

Hi, I am not sleeping and so I am just reading answers in the world.
I am italian and live nearby Riva del Garda, top north of Garda lake
So, let me calculate... 18 km from my place to Riva, + 35 from my place to Verona + 100 from Verona to Venice = 153 km (less than 100 miles)

Quickly, Milan is about 180 km, Brescia 80, Bologna 210....

the distance is:
from riva del garda to venice is about 100 km.
from riva del garda to milan is about 150 km
to verona i think abouth20-30 km... to rome 500 km

just about everywhere around garda you can get day trips in coaches to visit venice i would think this would be your best choice and would avoid parking problems and such i think its a good idea to make the trip, being so close,and well worth it i should think too verona is also worth the effort
