Sorry Meaghan, but your answer and article are wrong! How can Hallo Dandy have won the 1984 Grand National, die in January 2007 and have been aged 13 upon his death?!
Hallo Dandy was foaled in 1974 and won the 1984 Grand National, making him 33 when he died earlier this month.
He was owned by Richard Shaw, trained by Gordon Richards and ridden by Neale Doughety. He carried 10st 2 in the 1984 National and his starting price was 13/1.

Hallo Dandy, winner of the 1984 Grand National, was put down on veterinary advice at the age of 33.
The gelding, trained by Gordon Richards and ridden by Neale Doughty, won the Aintree marathon by three lengths from Greasepaint with Corbiere in third.
Hallo Dandy had been the oldest surviving Grand National winner.
He had spent the last 13 years at Carrie Humble's Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre in Lancashire.
He also finished fourth in the 1983 Grand National.
