Celebrity mums who do this are very selfish and not looking after their bodies properly. Exercise should not be attempted for 3 monthas after having a baby as the ligaments are still soft and it is very easy to damamge them.. breastfeeding takes care of excess weight anyway. Yes you are right.

YES!!!
my Baby comes 1st.
I am enjoying being a NEW MOM 1st and foremost. Every moment is spent with this new bundle of joy.
( Time passes too quickly... and they grow so fast ... )
If I had the $$ I would have a baby every year. Breast feeding drops the TUMMY Bulge. I have had the good fortune with this proving to be true. Hips, Legs, & Thieghs... I push the carriage as often a possible. (walking in the mall when the weather is grey). Upper body workout... lots of HUGS for Baby. Lifting baby from crib and lots of floor time together. (cleaning house and scrubbing floors when baby sleeps.)
Watching what I eat, to keep up my engergy and not overdue sweets. As what I eat, Baby is eating too for the year to come. This all seems to work fine for me. The pounds shed slowly and I feel good.
Who cares what others think. They should be sharing my happiness, and delight. To H#&* w/ Vanity.
Maybe I'll be an 8 again.. Maybe I won't... so be it.

If you have a healthy pregnancy, then you naturally put on weight. The fat stores built up are used in breastfeeding, to produce all the milk which is to feed your baby, which of course is the whole reason you are like that and you will be happy to provide the best for your baby as you love your child. Some very immature comments on here annoyed me like some women think it is something to boast about that they are back in their size tens in a matter of days. If you are to be a looving mother, naturally you will have that weight as nature deposits it on our hips, but with breastfeeding it naturally reduces. This takes TIME (for normal healthy women anyway, who arent madly vain, obsessed or anorexic). I am due in Sept and im ready to take anything nature throws at me and my weight will be the last thing on my mind when i hold my new child.

yes it does annoy me, our body change a lot, our hips might cause us never to get into that 10 again, i know i never will again, and i also hate the way that when people visit you after the birth the first thing they look at is your belly not the baby! its safer anyway to take it easy

don't worry about it!! your absolutely right about celebrties. they have their bodies totally done over after kids, no one not even them could do that without help. who cares how you look right now, you just had a baby and you've earned the right to not have to worry right now!! the weight will naturally come off with a healthy diet and just take walks when you can and it will come off!! just enjoy the baby and ignore ignorant people!! GOOD LUCK!!
