no there is no virus,
but winamp access net for some internet info pages...
so if your firewall ask any question u can allow to access...
if u want... as per me it is safe but not much useble so, you can block it.....

No not from the Winamp site. No problems known. Firewall will ask You about unknown or new program. That is normal. You can OK.

Yes u can get viruses if u download a duplicate version or you take it from a non relaible source.

i hate to say it, but yes... i got a worm virus that makes my norton corporate go crazy. i advice you use the default media player of windows.

I would think that it would be dependent on from where you downloaded it. If you got it from winamp.com, no.
