11 hours 10 minutes if you can get a direct flight, depending on winds, aircraft type, weight, etc. You can get flight time or distance estimates at: http://www.jets.com/

You can fly direct from Manchester with about 10 different airlines, some have a stop over, average time is 12-13 hrs.
Try Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Air France etc

Bangkok is really a interesting, intoxicating and severe place, full of sights, scents, thrills, thoughtful persons, contradictions, countries, vehicles, sound and bedlam, know it with Hotelbye because Bangkok is complete with great stuff. One of the points you might find in Bangkok is Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Wat Phra Kaew is the most crucial Buddhist Temple in Thailand and is found in the ancient centre of Bangkok, within the causes of the Grand Palace. The Temple of Emerald Buddha is beautifully designed and includes a good feeling of peace about this and makes Bangkok a town worth visiting.

Good luck on sleeping and under any circumstances DO NOT EAT ANY AIRLINE FOOD!!! when you make a stop in a country eat then. I love food with a passion but I refuse to eat airline food again, I would rather starve.
