my man and i were talking last nite (we have only been going out a few months) and suddenly he asked me if i had ever used or been given a sex toy. When i told him yes i had used and been given some as gifts by previous boyfriends he just stopped talking. we had been having good fun chatting about stuff then he just stopped and wouldnt say what was wrong. Have i dented his ego maybe???? how do i get him to talk to me

Yup.
Little boys pout when they find out theirs isn't the only pecker that can make you happy. Even when it's part of some fantasy they have.
These types were raised by a mommy who spoiled them and told then the sun rises and sets on their wonderful pecker and won't girls be lucky to get some of it and all that tripe.
Tell him to grow up, grow a backbone, and realize no toy can ever replace a warm caring human. But that just like he's got a screwdriver and a hammer, you have different tools for different jobs. Then tell him he has 10 seconds to stop pouting or he's not getting any more p*ssy, EVER.

reassure him that even though you have received gifts off previous boyfriends and used these gift before, tell him that it is him that you have feelings for and not the toys. tell him that the toys cannot give you a shoulder to cry on and cannot give you a hug when you need it most. if you love him, tell him so. ask him what is wrong, if he doesnt want to talk, tell him you understand. try not to get frustrated and angry with him as this may make him bottle up more.

Maybe he was insecure about himself and thought that he didn't "measure up" to your toy that you were given. It's difficult to say why he clammed up, but openness is the best key here. Let him know that even though you were available back then doesn't mean that you are now because of the fact that you are with him now. Also, other men or things are nothing in comparison to what he now brings to the relationship. Make him feel like a champion and he will probably perform/act like one, believe me.

took an ego hit because the thought of himself loosing out to a plastic toy. "you'd rather use a toy than meeee?" i'm a firm believer that sex is better if givin the chance just let him know that its for when he's not arround and turn tables of sayin that you don't care when he looks at porn and masterbates ect ect and you don't use it when you two are together or afterward. Since he's so sensitive NEVER admit to using it after sex with him or your going to have an ego funeral to plan for.

If not, you should talk to him and explain your point of view.

He might have expected u to tell him that earlier or maybe he was dissapointed because he didn't expect ur answer.

explain to him that they were only gifts and that it wasnt you who went out to look for such toys, maybe the people he should stop talking to are your freinds and not you
