This would be my first time so I don't know what to expect. Is it true that those areas are particularly sensitive?

OMG i just had those areas tattooed on sunday and it hurt like a *****. I turned 18 on saturday and this was my first tattoo it starts below my pants line and goes up to my shoulder and it continues a little on my stomach and up my side and around my back. I cried in 3 seperate areas, the shoulder blade, the ribs, and on my spine. I got a huge piece and i love it but the pain is unbearable. If its your first i would expect worse than what you think it will hurt like because i expected the worse and it was that times 10. I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes just getting the outline but i didn't complain, and i didn't take a break, that area is so sensitive so you just better want it that bad and the day after it is so damn sore i limped from it. today my shoulder blade and my side hurts pretty bad. good luck if you get it you will need it.

it's absolutely true that they are more sensitive. the tattoo will be done on top of bone (on your ribcage) which is extremely painful. i have a tattoo on my back which extends all the way out to the edge of my back, so i have had some experience with the pain of the ribcage. BUT it is totally bearable if you take your mind off of it by talking to someone or reading a book. good luck!

There is not any option to know the way it is going to be effected. I did not reap any weight even as pregnant for the primary 7 months...then I built a disease that induced me to reap 50lbs in two months....if I could have had a tattoo on my facet or stomach it could were destroyed. Your high-quality guess is that if you're making plans on having youngsters wait till after you're performed having youngsters...No experience in spending well cash and sitting via soreness to come to be with a ruined tattoo...However I know the way rough it's to keep off on a tattoo if you have one for your head...you'll constantly ask your artist what they consider.

Anything that is over bone, especially where the skin is quite thin or if there is not a lot of fat in that area, then it does tend to be a bit more painful. But to be honest it is not really that painful anyway, it just feels like a sort of sunburn tingling, or you know when you graze your skin? A bit like that sort of pain, it's not too bad at all, I have 5 and I am a real chicken when it comes to pain, so that just tells you it cannot be all that bad!!!

Yes they are sensitive, I have tatoos on all those places...But the most tolerable for me was my side because I just stretched up and it wasnt to bad..The ribcage one was probably the worst but after the base of the tatoo, its kinda numb so goin over it and whatnot isn't bad. Just do it, itll all be over soon
Or take a painpill before hand...not lithium or anything but you know what I mean.

I dont have any tats on my sides but from what i hear that the ribs are very painful. But the bragging right of getting ink on your ribs will out weigh the pain. Its all about the pain.

I have a large piece on my ribs, and that was my 15th tattoo.

If you're getting that as your first tattoo, you're a brave soul.

And yes, it hurts pretty bad.

Yes, because the thinner the skin the more it is going to hurt.
The good thing is that it's super sexy!
