Picasso's father was an important painter in Barcelona, and a professor of painting at the university. I would like to see some of his paintings, but they seem to be difficult to find. Any suggestions, either on the web or in museums?

Thanks folks, I am aware of the www.picasso-fraud.com website, and of Jose Ruiz Blasco's name. But where are his works? Even from a purely art historical aspect, they are of importance, but apparently he was a very good artist as well.

So have his works been neglected, or have they been destroyed? This is the question I have and why I would like to see if ANY have survived.

I was alerted to this puzzle by a Spanish friend who started to wonder about it on a visit to the Picasso museum in Barcelona.

Can anybody shed any light on this mystery?

Oddly enough the first place I have found examples of his work on the net is on a site claiming that Pablo is a fraud!

Here's another site

Be quick though because it looks like the people from Picassofraud.com are bent on getting all of Picasso's work discredited - they're on a mission and have the monopoly of search results in Google!

I think his own son Picasso is a pretty great piece of artwork and probably his father's best work. Don't you?
