People are ignorant and racist. By your poor English I,m guessing you are talking about racial slurs. Ignore those kind of people.They get satisfaction from insulting you so pretend you don,t hear them.

When people are angry or dissatisfied in life and want to lash out because they cannot or do not take control over their own lives and troubles, they turn to and ON the weaker, less advantaged folk around them. And that would be immigrants, for example.. because they are different and these angry people feel threatened by them. These unkind people wait for even one immigrant to make a mistake and yell.. 'THERE!! YOU SEE? THEY ARE ALL NO GOOD!! and they find awful and hurtful nicknames to call ALL the immigrants, to make themselves feel more powerful. It is not uncommon to hear of a person from a certain country who has committed a crime in his new country and people who will argue that this criminal should be sent back to his own country. It is quite another thing, and horrific at that, to lump all foreigners together and decide they all should go back.

Your English actually is quite good, a small error of the subjective 'we' being used instead of the objective 'us' and a preposition exchange of the word 'by' to 'to'.. nothing very serious.....otherwise, totally understandable. I applaud you and your efforts. English is NOT an easy language to learn and yet you make the effort!! Keep going!! Congratulations in how well you are doing and how far you have come!

It is very hard to be an immigrant and probably always has been to those of us who have been down that road.
