Don't think badly of her - apparently its very easy to catch crabs - I've heard stories of them on towels, so maybe even trying on jeans or something. It may not be crabs, lots of things can be itchy, thrush (yeast infection - again perfectly normal can be aggravated by what a person eats), allergy to soap or washing powder. She needs to see a doctor to get a diagnosis

Do not get too close! Do not use the towels in her home, etc.

She needs to seek medical care. If it's not crabs it could be caused by a yeast infection or vaginitis. Tell her to get to a clinic or her doctor quick.

Don't touch her for god sakes you might get it and tell her to go see a doctor to get that cleared up right away, or perhaps she has a yeast infection which would cause severe itching not to mention a yellowish discharge that really smells and looks like cottage cheese.

Iodine is the best as it will not sting, but will stop the itch and if she does have crabs will help to kill them

I would tell her go to the doctor or clinic to see what the problem it. It could be because of the soap she's using or other problems such as stds......just go get her tested would be the easiest to do to solve the problem

if she has a look she can actually see the crabs, they look like little scabs and can be picked off.
You can get ointment from a gp but it very similar to head lice (they are the same) lotion so go to a pharmasist and get that to avoid embarrassment
