This shows the discounted total:

A1 = your value
0.1 = 10% discount or you can change it to;
0.25= 25% discount, etc

=A1-(A1*0.1)

To find 10% is just:

=A1*0.1 (for 10%)
or = A1*0.25 (for 25%)

Here I have set it up as it appears in Excel.

Look at the [braketed] formula. This shows you how to work out the discounts. You should format column B as currency and put a percentage symbol (%) after the discount value for it to work.

Col A ColB ColC ColD ColE
1. Prod. Price Discount D Value New Price
2. a £12.30 10% £1.23 £11.07
3. b £45.50 20% [=B3*C3] [=B3-D3]
4. c £15.00 15% £2.25 £12.75
5. d £10.00 50% £5.00 £5.00
6. e £11.23 10% £1.12 £10.11
7. f £12.30 20% £2.46 £9.84
8. g £44.60 15% £6.69 £37.91
9. h £30.99 50% £15.50 £15.50
10.Total £181.92 £43.35 £138.57

If you can not open, retailer, and print. Like, the icons within the software can not be clicked or spotlight has been disabled, you're utilising a Trial Version and it has expired. You ought to purchase the software for it to paintings once more. (you'll purchase the software on the web or cross to a PC retailer and purchase a certified replica). If you do have a certified replica and feature a stopped operating predicament or errors disorders that are not able to look to open and even begin the software, attempt to reinstall the Microsoft workplace software once more in your laptop (calls for the Microsoft workplace CD and serial quantity). 1st, uninstall the software out of your laptop. restart, then set up once more

the most basic is =$(your original price) *.90 (ie 100% less 10%)
You could set up the spreadsheet to have fixed named cells in which you input data such as price or discount (cell formated to percent) and then create a formula such as = "price"*(100-"discount"). to show the result.
