personally, I would be chased away if I was to be invited to such a private evening on my second date.

Take her to a couple of public places before you go for one on one's. You will see it will progress by itself - or not!

No need to force the issue.

As long as you don't serve raw oysters and have some pervy 70s porno sound track on the stereo.....

Might try telling her you found this great recipe online for whatever you're gonna fix, and you'd love it if she'd come by and give it a try. Second date is a little early for a romantic dinner at your place, but if you keep it informal and fun, it'll be ok. I had a guy invite me over to watch a "Make Your Own Sushi" video with him and we both had our little mats and made our own sushi to the video. Mostly we made a big ole mess but it was a blast, no pressure, and very creative.

dinner is public unless your talking about dinner at home. Cooking dinner for two can be romantic if your a good cook lol but usually wait a little longer into dating someone to use this approach. It could weird her out that your trying to get her to come over late and seduce her for desert. Wait to get to know each other better but when it comes to that find out what she likes to eat, two candles, quiet music and a bottle of bubbley or something nice to drink.

depends, ha don't you love that answer?

Some people are very comfortable after the 1st date/convos, others are still in that testing the water phase. Which are you in? Do you still make mostly small talk or are you moving into random convos about nothing and just how boring your days were?
If you feel that you two are comfortable enough to have dinner at your flat you probably wouldn't be asking this question.

How about a middle ground, ask her to dinner at a place near your house and a movie on your couch :)

good luck

Sure, I invited a girl to a dinner at my house on the first date. We ate together with my parents. Just act like pure friendship before changing to the next gear. Don't stammer when you ask her. Be sincere and confidant.

Do you really like her? Is she special...or is it just to screw or something? If you really like her and want to spend time with her...give her the choice. Ask her is she'd mind going to Ur place, and tell her you understand if she does, and if she says no...just got to a more public place (and let her pick where...to make up for the discomfort of your previous question) But if this is just for sex...don't push it. Let her make that decision. If she seems to want to...then go for it...but if not...DON'T!!

It depends on whether you expect anything to happen after dinner. If you don`t then go ahead an invite her and if things progress naturally then it`s ok.

Yes and make sure you hide the video camera very well in the bedroom, and make sure you have plenty of battery life. Theres nothing worse than missing that special vinegar stroke moment!

of course you should wait!!! its still your second date, she would probably be turned off if you run things too fastly, she'd probably think that you're a maniac and you arent serious about her(or are you?).... give it a time... and besides, it would better for both of you to know each better before making deeper things...

If you are really very sure with your feelings for her...and if you really know her that much...and if she also wanted to...then why not? About your fears...that's the consequence you have to leave...or to take. Good luck!!!
