So, I think I messed up. I have a girl I really really like. but I turned her off because I was too busy trying to impress her to impress her. I built her up on so high of a pedistool I lost sight of what I was doing. I want to win her back. I realize this means starting over from scratch.
How can I make her start to fall in love with me and win her trust back?

dude you can't make her fall in love. it doesn't happen. only thing is when she realises she needs your company, she'll come to you. she's the one making the decision. YOU CAN'T make her fall in love

women can't stand a liar or a cheat. and if she is a good woman that likes you for you and not some other reason. then you simply just tell her the truth. Even though you will feel like a complete idot doing so, it will flatter her that you were telling her what she wanted to hear so she would like you more. But guys don't understand girls aren't so hard to impress if they only be there self. And usually girls can see right through guys who try to be something they aren't. And your right it is a major turn off. If she gives you a second chance just remember be yourself and don't ever lie to her again. I don't care how big or little. If it's that bad then don't do it. And if you have to act like someone you are not then your not going to be happy with yourself in the end.

First off don't try so hard....let things just happen. No girl likes a pushy guy. We like to know that you like us but give us space enough to check with our own feelings. Tell her that you like her tell her that the ball is in her court and then just sit back and wait if she doesn't come around its cause she doesn't have those feelings for you if she calls and comes around then you got her so you don't have to go acting a fool. Be yourself and if its not meant to be then its not meant to be.

don't worry about love, worry about interest. Be nice to her, ask her to go do something casually.
honestly without knowing what you did it's hard to tell you.
If you did something that would hurt her feelings, apologize and tell her basically what you said here. Most girls would love to hear that even though you accidentally hurt them it was because you cared enough to get worked up trying to impress them, something of an ego trip.
