Is it possible to train a dog that wants to attack cats to leave them alone?

yes, but be very stern(also it depends what kind of dog you have) what i do is never leave them alone. And when you have them in the same room, pick up ur cat, (probably wanna kill ya at that point) reassure the cat its o.k and pet him while ur dog is watching and tell ur cat that he/she is a nice kitty. and of course, ur dog is going to want to come in 4 the kill, but thats when u have a rolled up magazine and when the dog jumps at the cat u tap him on the snout and be stern(because ur the boss) and say leave the kitty alone! its a nice kitty see!! not loud and re-assure the cat again. but, at the same time if the dog does well give praise. i know it sounds far fetched, but its worked w/my 3 dogs and u kinda have 2 sound like a little kid, but set aside the pride so they both can get along. i hoped it works and remember patience!

let the dog attack as many cats as he wants.you should feed them to him for breakfast,lunch and dinner.you'll be doing the world a huge favour by stopping the murder of native animals and the spread of disease.cats are vermin.
