Not much will help except time.

Stay hydrated and rest.

Sleep a lot, take a lot of Vitamin C and lots of water. Another thing that makes you feel better is a cup of ginger tea. Just slice up a lot of ginger and mix it in a cup of tea. Leave it to brew for a couple of minutes. Strain it and drink while still hot. (You can add a bit of sugar if you want but not too much). Helps to clear up the respiratory tract and make you feel all warm and nice inside.

unfortunately the flu is a virus that has to just take its coarse. you can treat the syntoms but that's really it Tylenol for fever and body aches peppermint tea helps with upset stomach and if you have the runs don't take anything to stop them that's how the virus will exit and stoping it will make it last longer. feel better soon.

See this site to get rid of the flu as soon as possible. Yes the stress of your boy cheating on you contributed to it.

I had it for 5 days, stomach flu. I just stayed in bed and drank gatoraide and green tea. Flush your system and rest, if you can't eat, drink nutritional drinks and take vitamens. Ibruphroophen for pain. When I wasn't sick anymore, I felt very weak afterwards from lack of food. It kicked my butt!
