Lately... now and then, especially in the mornings.. I've come over all hot, sweaty and shaky.. go really white and get the feeling I'm going to be sick... But I daren’t get up as I feel faint and weak too...This feeling comes suddenly and only lasts aprox 5 - 10 minutes then goes... Has anyone had this and had it confirmed what it is?
I'm 23 and normally in good health so can’t think what it is... any ideas??

The obvious answer is that you could be pregnant. So check this out unless you are positive you are not! Even if you are menstruating now you could be pregnant.

Another possibility is you could be anaemic, so you might want to get your blood checked by the doctor.

But i think it is probably low blood sugar. I used to suffer terribly like this and even though i knew i needed something to eat i felt too sick to eat anything!

I suggest you either have an extra little snack at bedtime or some milk or have something by the bed that you can nibble at before you get up - like an oaty biscuit. I used to find dry toast with a scrape of marmite was something i could face.

Then when you are up, have a proper breakfast as soon as you can.

I hope you are ok soon.

I get this due to my anxiety. When I wake up I have to have a good 10 minutes taking deep breaths until I can get up. Breath in for 4 then hold for 2 and breath out for 4. Might sound stupid but trust me, it works. Always helps if hubby brings a cup of tea up to me aswell and then I get a sugar fix before I get up. If it carries on, visit your GP just to make sure it is nothing more sinister. However, as it only lasts 5 minutes, I wouldn't be too concerned. Anything major would have repercussions throughout the day.
Good Luck!

I have experienced this as well and know many people who have. You need to eat a good breakfast. Drink a glass of water before bed and as soon as you get up. You are lacking in vitamins. Either that or you may have a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance. Eating dairy before bed will surely make you feel this way when you wake up. Hope I helped a little, Im no doctor!

You should see a doctor. The symptoms could be a sign of pregnancy but could also be caused by any number of ailments. It can be caused by strong tea or coffee, Iron deficiency, and, well the list goes on.

Two thoughts. Diabetic and anemic. Pregnancy can depending on your weight. Also see if you are bleeding abnormally.
