Her live-in boyfriend downloaded a video that was titled as kiddie p*rn, but he said that he KNEW that was not what it was.
And, it turned out to be adult material. Still, she is very worried that a title such as that would catch his eye. What do you think?

Definitely be concerned.
Even if he was "just curious" about what it was .... which is sick enough in my book ... if she really does get any child porn on her computer and the police find out somehow ... they could be in for the long haul ... even jail terms ... there was a story the other day about a 16 yr old with 9 images on his computer, possibly there by a virus ... facing many years in prison .... fortunately he finally beat it, but it was a 2 year battle.

As the other reply says a man who could be ''turned on'' by such a thing is truly sick and unsafe around young children, I also suggest she ends the realionship, most child offenders start off that way and seem like the type of person that would never do it.
For her safety and any childrens she should end the realtionship.

I'm sorry, but that's just too serious an action to ignore. Just thinking about it, makes my stomach lurch.
Even if he weren't lying, I just wouldn't be able to trust anything he says.
There are strict lines we should never pass. Anything related to pornography with children, or sexual actions with a child; is one, if not the biggest of them all.
How would he of known it wasn't what it said it was? Why would he even take the chance of it actually turning out to be what the title said? Is watching porn so important?
I feel so very sorry for your friend.
Only things I can suggest is spying on him, yes spying. Not trusting him AT ALL around children. She has to know for sure, he was being truthful. If she does find anything else suspicious, she needs to contact the authorities, and tell his family. Sorry but no risks can be taken, if you like watching it, you may act on it.
Perhaps talking to a counselor, or minister, can help too . I hope to God the guy was being truthful, but how she can trust him again is beyond me. I just couldn't fathom this relationship ever being normal again.

At least you have a clue, most don't get that til it is too late and someone has already been hurt, get rid of him...and I would alert to police to him, let them decide if they want to watch him, but you have enough to worry you..take it as a blessing you found out...

tell your friend to get Pandora Corp, it secretly saves every key that someone has typed into the computer, that way she can see if he's being trying to look or find more kiddy porn, and if he has i'd call the police, cause thats discusting. just google pandora corp!

i'd be worried as well, but it probably isn't anything to worry about. But what i would worry about is that being in the computer now making it look like he is some internet predator.

Get away from him and report him. Dont let him get carried away with that stuff. I'm a father of a 6 year old son. I dont go for that sh*t at all.

They always say they didn't do it on purpose but a man who likes to look at little girls is sick. If I were your friend I would leave him. Especially if she has small kids.
