It's a year away. not going to do the renew vows thing I don't think,so some ohter nice ways to mark the day.I have 1 year to prepare.

Take a trip to a special place that you both have that you never went to or one that the two of you do not get to go there often enough. Or have a party to celebrate that special 25th year. Or do something special like a hot air balloon ride together, just find something the two of you both would like and suprise him but be carefull he is not planning on something special that same day for you. Or pick something romantic for the bedroom that he will never forget that special day maybe part of it could be serving him something on a silver tray! Or take a second honeymoon together that is planned by the both of you. After all you both deserve it! Congradulations!

In my culture, we celebrate something good and significant with a prayer.
To me, personally, what better way to spend your 25th anniversary with a second honeymoon... More in-sync with each other, travelling and seeing something new of the world would be just the thing to inject some romance and 'new' insight and excitment into the relationship :)

Have a formal or semi-formal event with all your family and friends. You can have a cake, include dancing, or even do a bouquet toss. If there was one particular element you weren't able to afford at your wedding, spring for it now. (Like a stretch limo, for example)
The 25th anniversary is silver, so decorate with white and silver or black and silver.
