I recently bought an lcd tv. it has a DC adapter. yest. the tv failed to work and the adapter was beeping?

I bet there's explanation about the adapter beep in Instruction manual. Big chance there's short circuit inside the unit.

I think your adaptor may be fused. I would take the TV and adaptor in to be checked.
