I have been on this forum not even 3 minutes and I already see 5 questions about African Americans! What is this big mystery about them that caucasians can't just leave us alone? This is EVERY day, all day obsessions. WHY WHY WHY??? We eat, we sleep, we work, we play, we breathe the same air, we have the same bills, we wear the same clothes, we use indoor plumbing, our bodies function the same, we read, we write, we think. Only the skin tone is different. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS TOO!!!! There has got to be another focus for the caucasian race besides us!

Don't think I agree with you on the "obsession" part. I'm curious about African American points of view because it's a large part of our American culture that, as a Caucasian, I'll never be privy to. Also, for a lot of white folks, race relations can be kind of mysterious, and interactions can be loaded with landmines that we don't see coming (for example, I'm pretty sure that the 5 people who asked the questions that so angered you had any idea that their curiosity would be offensive to you).

Personally, I think any time one part of the populace is curious about another part, that's a good thing. It shows an interest in other cultural backgrounds and a desire to understand where other people come from. After all these decades of racial tension in this country, more understanding can only lead to better relations over time. Just because someone wants to know more about another group of people doesn't mean they're obsessed, and it certainly doesn't mean that they think of the people they're curious about as less than human. Just the opposite, I'd say.

That's funny when I done an advanced search for African American I got over 4,100 questions, which is not even 1% of the 5 million or so questions posted on this particular site. So you're going to judge all of us Caucasians bases on 1% of the populations, and that assuming that all of those questions were asked by white people. And you're trying to make them sound racist.

Not true.
Many Caucasians also so obssesed with Asians and many other races.
Let's not be that stereotypical minded, shall we? When you saw 5 questions about African American things it was just coincidence only. Maybe the next time you are in this forum, you will never find the questions about African American anymore.... you never know.

I don't know who your referring to but I'm Caucasian and I don't have any questions about you, for you, or obsess about you. I'm not racist, my best friend is African American and I don't play that racial ****. Why don't you explain yourself instead of putting done so much hate and discontent. As far as I'm concerned we are all human beings. Sounds like you have the problem because I've been all over these questions and I have seen questions about everyone and every thing, so if you see five questions concerning what you think are racial issues then it looks like that is what you were concentrating on and wanted to see. If you don't like this answer I'm open for discussion.

My tuition is as white as can also be we've got like 7 black children. I'm the one Indian (followed off my rez) and I without difficulty name them Europeans and Blacks. I believe the European children obsess approximately black stuff given that they've developed a tradition for themselves whilst Europeans are so indifferent from their house international locations they do not know who they're and think entitled to be like any individual they wish. I hold in touch with my loved ones so I simply kind of take delivery of what I am.

Um she just the same as any other dog out there. Give or take a scratch or two. Ah um I'm trying to make a point but the issue is so sensitive. Our ancestors kind of ****** you over. And we haven't done so well ever since. I'm content to studying operant conditioning and the fundamentals of all organism behavior. but ah um yeah.....
So all I really got to say is
I love you all.
Except the single celled organisms **** them.

Curiosity killed the white cat.

I'm going to answer you the same why blacks answer whites when they ask these type of questions: why are you generalizing? Not all whites are like this. And so on and so on. Quite honestly, I don't give a rat's *** about anybody except the people under my roof. Everybody else, white or black, means nothing to me.
