Oats are the best, though I do not understand the scientific reason for this. Also good for keeping blood sugar levels at an even keel (slow release energy) and less likely to cause bloating!

Focusing on just two things for controlling cholesterol are inadequate. Including reducing your intake of fats and red meat, there are a multitude of other items you can enjoy besides just oats or wheat products. Look at the website for a list of all the wonderful things you can try and enjoy. P.s. Kale is the best vegetable to eat.

This will probably cause some arguements.. but has anyone read Eat Right For Your Blood Type? This book suggests anyone with type O blood should stay away from wheat and eat lots of lean red meat to reduce cholesterol.. and it has some pretty amazing cases of people that have 'tried everthing and this is all that has worked'. It works on the basis that the different blood types have different 'poisons and medicines' based on their make up. I have followed this diet and seen fast weight loss, my asthma cleared up and energy levels increased. It's worth a read for anyone who's interested. Sorry can't remember the doctors name...

Oats! Get your red hot oats to keep the badies at bay!
I like to dress them up with some antioxidant blueberries to give it a heart healthy kick, too.
