It will be wasted like all the other extra tax this government has imposed. Does anybody remember T.B. saying NO rise in taxation!!

The money is another form of taxation and will be used by the government to fund various foolish projects such as the war in the middle east. If you think this will be used to help reduce global warming then you are dreaming. Like all forms of taxation this money will be used as the government in power at the time pleases.

The same as happens to the rest of the taxes we pay! That means it either goes to the scroungers out there (single mothers, I know some are there by accident, you know the ones I mean thought the real scroungers!) or to pay politicians big fat salaries!
It would be better to use it to fund research into making aircraft either more efficient or alternative fuels fo aircraft.

it will go into the general tax pot,you don't for one minute think this deceitful government will do anything about so called global warming do you? even the windmill/generators are a deceit they do not produce anything worthwhile and have you seen the amount of concrete required for each one? this in modern parlance is a massive carbon footprint. it is all acon!

some body is in for a big pay rise--- i bet its not going to research a development on new fuel or engines , or domestic power sources---high cost of living announced today is it any wonder ? they want us living in little boxes while some---- you can guess the rest
