Wow That man is on the right track! He's not there yet though. What he is saying is that you can't get to God by your works. There is no way you can pray enough or do enough good deeds to make it. He is trying to explain the difference between the Christian faith and the Christian religion. The Christian faith is those who have accepted the gift of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and He has come into their lives to change them. The Christian religion is a practice so to speak and not all who practice the Christian religion are of the Christian faith.

I do believe the guy in the video was wrong on one major point. He said that you can only come to the faith if God chooses you and left the impression that God chooses not to call some people. This is in fact incorrect. God calls all of us, but some people are to hard of heart to hear Him.

We need Holes in the head.

Also, christianity is a religion. I know I know christians say it isnt. Its just going to church on sunday, worshipping God every day, praying and reading ancient scriptures and determining our views by it.
I do find it a rather clever attempt of getting people to become religous, kind of like the carrot before the donkey thing. People focus on the carrot, never realising they are actually being religous.
It got me suckered in for 20 years.
Some christianity is just religion without an emphasis on some traditional aspects.
We dont need religion, period

Jesus wants you to come to Him just as you are and He will cleanse you. You cannot earn His gift, all it takes is believing that He died on the cross for our sins and was risen on the 3rd day to be victorious over sin and the grave.
He wants you to know that it is like the woman who was pushing through the crowd and had the issue of blood and she had the faith that if I only touch the hem of His garment I shall be healed. Jesus felt His power leave Him and asked "Who touched Me?" and He said to her "Go and be healed, your faith has made your whole."
People are so quick to judge and religon is a touchy subject to bring up just like politics so if you need to push through the crowd to get to Jesus, know that He loves you and will never leave you or turn His back on you. Just talk to Him like He is right there in the room with you and ask Him for guidance and understanding and He will draw near to those who draw near to Him.

Afghanistan's constitution, written in 2004, enshrines the country as an Islamic state under which no law can contravene Islam.

I only listened to the first three minutes of it, and I agree. Read the Bible and follow Jesus, don't follow religion.
