Well I hope I don't go to Heaven! Damn, it'd be boring for me; I was planing on going to Asgard with the Norse Gods and my Heathen ancestors. To me, it would matter because as irreverent as I can be at times, I do take my religion seriously and I would feel very out of place in Heaven. One God is not interchangeable with another nor are all Gods one in the same. Zeus is not Odin and Odin is not Allah and Allah is not Yahaveh, etc... Each has their own personality, each is unique. It really would depend on which God I met and which afterlife I end up in when I died as to how I would feel about it.
Well if I died and ended up in the wrong afterlife, like for example, instead of meeting Odin, I came face to face with Anubis, I'd just have to make the best of it. I'd be thinking to myself "Damn I wished I had studied the Egyptian Book of the Dead more".

Jesus is the only way. Therefore there is no chance of ending up in the "wrong" place if your trust in Jesus.
John 10:1
"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
God would not be just if He gave us any less punishment for evil than what He gave to Lucifer. Jesus is the ONLY way of salvation.

If i get into Heaven I don't care how I got there. The ends justify the means.

The whole purpose of being part of (what you conceive to be) the right religion is to get back home. If you get back home, who cares? No one is likely to ask you which highway you took.

All souls go to heaven. Who cares who the guide is.
Do you care what plane takes you home or is getting home the important fact.

First question, where is heaven? Secondly, once you are physically dead, would it even matter?
