okay i met this guy online, he is pretty hot and has got the six pack thing working for him, we've been talking on the phone and getting to know each more for like 3 weeks now, but i know i am not his type, based on his profile,i am not as skinny as he wants. but he was the one that contacted me first, anyway i am not about to setup myself for a heartbreak, so i wanna call it off, do u guys think i should.

You must always give it a try. Let him decide if you are his type. I'm married to a girl that wasn't my type. Guys tend to get stuck on a girls intelect after having conversations as long as you both have. Sure he might not pick you out of a line up but all that matters is you both have a connection now and that will build on his physical attraction towards you.

What makes you so sure he's got a six pack? Anyway, if you are not confident about yourself then you might as well call it off......Or if you gave him a different picture of yourself..........If I were you, I would just go ahead with it.......just so that I won't regret it that I didn't try.....Anway If you are already thinking of the possibility of a heartbreak, then you seemed quite ready for it so I don't think it will really really hurt......what have you got to really loose...? at least you get to meet him in person and maybe he might just like you....who knows????

You should never date someone who you feel is better than you, it would just cause you to be self concious and jealous in the relationship. Have you been honest with him about your appearance? If you have been, and he still expresses interest, then I say go for it.
